How ominously these words follow fallow each other in text "live", 'die but there is a comma between live & die and surely as it is in words so is in reality? How brief is the distance between life and death!

In fact there is none. Life is death's vesfibufie and our pilgrimage on earth is but for a last journey to the heaven.

The death of legendry "teacher of teachers" on 2nd March, 2012 at Chandigarh was moaned, tributes were pouring in not only from the dental fraternity but from various personalities of repute. He was a simple kind hearted and gentle person who sacrificed his life, lived for the cause of others. He impressed others by his sweet woke. Dr. Balwant Rai Vacher was a noble soul, devoted his life for the cause of humanity, dental education and patient care.

He was a pride of the nation. His death leaves a heartache and it cannot heal. We the fraternity of Pediatric Dentistry mourn the demise of this legend.
